Don Stevenson of Auburn, Wash. will raise money for multiple sclerosis by walking 8,000 miles over the next year -- without leaving Auburn.

Stevenson, 77, who is also known as "The Pacing Parson," said he would walk most of the distance in the park.

"On Saturdays I'm going to talk outside the park just to get rid of the humdrum of being here all week," he said.

This won't be the first time Stevenson walks for a cause. A few years ago, he did leave Auburn and walked across the country to raise money for Alzheimer's research.
