While not wanting to take anything away from Roy, KING5 should have their facts straight. Roy does not have a Congressional Medal Of Honor, he has the Congressional Gold Medal

Great story. Earning the Medal Of Honor, the Bronze star, and getting into the Ranger Hall Of Fame is something you dont see everyday. Being Jpanese-American, he had to go through screening after screening to get into the Army. Most Japanese Americans were sent to the 442nd Infantry Regiment or the 100th Battalion, or used for their language skills in MIlitary Intelligence. Yet, he bacame a Ranger, that meant more screening by the Army into his and his family past.. And then the awards. Rare for anyone that wasnt white to receive the awards, especially the MOH. Thanks for serving, Old veteran here, CSC 1ST Bn 41st Infantry Regiment

A true American hero! I would love to shake this mans hand and thank him for his service. Glad to see the new valve is working and I hope he has many more good years to come.
