Friday is National Wear Red Day. There are events in and around Seattle aimed at bringing awareness to heart disease, one of the biggest health threats for women.
The American Heart Association (AHA) will be hosting various events around the Puget Sound:
Stayin’ Alive will take place at Alderwood Mall’s Center Court on Saturday and the event will run from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
Key Arena will host Red Out for Heart at the men's basketball game between Seattle University and New Mexico State. Half of the ticket sales with benefit the AHA. There will also be official Red Out shirts available for a donation.
