This year, KING 5 made a New Year resolution to help everyone get a whole lot healthier. The result is a yearlong HealthLink program on all platforms, including KING 5 News, Evening Magazine, New Day Northwest, KING5.com and our social media platforms.
We launched "HealthLink on New Day" Monday with a discussion about the new Affordable Care Act - what changes are on the way, key dates for changes and what it all means to patients, employees and businesses.
Joining us for this panel discussion were Pediatrician Dr. Ben Danielson from Seattle Children's and the Odessa Brown Children's Clinic, Professor Sallie Sanford from the University of Washington School of Law and an expert on health reform law, and John Hammarlund, the Regional Administrator for the Center for Medicare and Medicaid Services.
