A new study published in the Annals of Internal Medicine shows acupuncture may be an effective allergy treatment.
Researchers had more than 400 allergy sufferers undergo either: acupuncture with access to allergy medication, a sham acupuncture procedure with access to medication, or medication only.
They found those who were treated with real acupuncture reported fewer symptoms and used less medicine.
