A new study from the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Center in Seattle shows drinking four or more cups of coffee a day may help reduce the risk of prostate cancer.
Researchers studies prostate cancer patients and their coffee and tea drinking habits. They found men who drank four or more cups a day had a 59 percent reduced risk of prostate cancer recurrence or progression.
It's the believed the phytochemicals in coffee play a role, which have an anti-inflammatory and antioxidant effect; however more research is needed.
