Locally-made cheeses will be showcased in Seattle on Saturday at the Washington Artisan Cheesemakers Festival, a celebration of the thriving specialty cheese industry in Washington state.
The festival will feature a variety of handcrafted artisan cheeses, as well as accompaniments such as fine foods and beverages, which are also locally-made. Festival attendees will be able to sample different cheeses and even meet the cheesemakers themselves.
The festival runs from 12-6 p.m. at the Seattle Design Center. Tickets are $5 and admission includes cheese tastes and 3 drink tickets for beer, wine and cider.
Admittance is 21 years of age and older.
