Leavenworth 12s create gingerbread Super Bowl stadium

The Gingerbread Factory in Leavenworth, Wash., created this edible Super Bowl stadium, made from gingerbread cookies and candies.

The 12s are cooking in Washington!

Seahawks pride is alive and well at The Gingerbread Factory in Leavenworth, where bakers Kris Kraus and Allie Glover recreated MetLife Super Bowl stadium out of gingerbread cookies and candies.

Kraus said it took them a week to recreate the edible Super Bowl stadium.

"We love the Seahawks," said Kraus, head baker at The Gingerbread Facotry. "We wanted to show what we can do and the Super Bowl was the perfect occassion to do it! I was a Seahawks fan when they first became a team and I just wanted to show our Hawks spirit."

The gingerbread Super Bowl stadium is currently on display at The Gingerbread House and has a price tag of $300. Kraus said if the Seahawks with this Sunday, the stadium will be up for a very long time.
