About Our Photographer, Nancy Treder:

Nancy has been viewing the world from behind the lens and capturing its most precious moments for over a decade now. Her extensive photojournalism background has landed Nancy all over the world as she’s worked extensively for the United States Army snapping and recording moments for our troops. Her feminine touch is easily found by her creative attention to details that sometimes slip by other photographers, but are captured instead by Nancy. This attention to detail is what has earned her work numerous awards and accolades.

Today, Nancy owns and operates Seattle based Ultraviolet Studios with her husband, Doug Treder. Together they have built a photography business known for specializing in “documentary style” wedding photography. "I know brides expect much more from their photographer than just paper photos. They need artistic documentation within the context of elegant portraiture,” says Nancy. "A wedding day is one of the most exciting events in a couple's life and my goal is to capture those memories in an artistic way. I want my clients to always remember the special details, faces of loved ones, and the fun they all experienced."
