SEATTLE, WA - Gardening wizard Ciscoe Morris is in the holiday spirit as he tells us about the Garden d'Lights show at Bellevue Botanical Garden.
Garden d'Lights at the Bellevue Botanical Garden (12001 Main Street, Bellevue) features over half a million lights that transform the Bellevue Botanical Garden into a blossoming winter wonderland. Each holiday season, thousands of visitors enjoy this dazzling display. This year, the route has changed, grown, and become more magical than ever. The overall garden in brilliant bloom is breathtaking; plus kids big and small will love discovering creatures such as Willy the slug, Charlotte on her web with a captured fly, and my personal favorite, Fred the frog.
Opening Day is Saturday, November 26 and it runs through Saturday, December 31. Hours are 4:30 pm to 9:00 pm every evening including holidays (lights go out at 9:30 pm). Adults are only $5 and children 10 and under are free! Avoid standing in ticket lines by purchasing your ticket in advance online.
Premium parking in the Garden's lot is available for $5/car, cash only, as space allows. Parking is free in this lot for individuals with a disability parking permit. Free parking is available at Wilburton Hill Park, located east of the Garden on the south side of Main Street. It's a short walk up Main St. to the Garden entrance.
