A new play at Sound Theatre Company in Seattle examines the notion of idealized Asian beauty, past and present.

A new play at Sound Theatre Company in Seattle examines the notion of idealized Asian beauty, past and present. Nadeshiko takes us into the lives of two women: one in Japan during World War II; the other in contemporary times.

Playwright Keiko Green shared the inspiration for Nadeshiko, as well as the conversations she hopes the play will launch.
