New documentary spotlights 1916 Everett Massacre

This weekend marks the 100th anniversary of the bloodiest battle in Northwest labor history. The violent fight between workers and law enforcement became known as the Everett Massacre.

This weekend marks the 100th anniversary of the bloodiest battle in Northwest labor history. The violent fight between workers and law enforcement became known as the Everett Massacre. A new documentary takes us inside the turmoil, and shows how this event affected the future of labor relations in the US.

The film's creator, Denise Ohio, shared her inspiration for making the film, Verona: The Story of the Everett Massacre.

There will be two screenings of Verona this weekend:

Saturday, November 5 - 2:00 pm at Everett Public Library

Sunday, November 6 - 2:00 pm & 7:00 pm at the Historic Everett Theatre
