New center offers haven and healing for sex trafficking survivors

Escape to Peace opens the first center in King County dedicated to helping sex trafficking survivors.

Here's a staggering fact: at any given time, any day, as many as 500 underage girls are trafficked, here in King County. Some of those girls are as young as eight years old.

A Bellevue business owner was so moved after witnessing the effects of sex trafficking on girls and women here and overseas, she founded an organization to help support them.

Escape to Peace founder Carol Loya and trafficking survivor Elaine Adams shared more about the organization and its new Escape Center.
