SEATTLE - The sport of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has gained in popularity, as mixed martial arts becomes more mainstream. There are classes for people who want to study it as a discipline or to train for competition, but it's also a great way to ease stress, gain self-confidence, and lose weight.
Rodrigo Lopes and Greg Jones from Gracie Barra Jiu-Jitsu shared more about the workout for fitness and self-defense, as well as their anti-bully program for kids.
You can register for a free class through their website. Through the month of February, Gracie Barra Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu is offering a month of free training to adults or youth in your immediate family with the purchase of a uniform.
