SEATTLE - Walking into Seattle's newest rooftop restaurants feels more like an experience than anything else.
The MBar in South Lake Union sits 14 stories up, on a rooftop overlooking the water. But here's the catch, you actually enter the restaurant on the first floor.
The elevator ride to the top is worth the journey. As soon as you step off of the elevator, you find yourself in a long corridor looking out onto the neighborhood.
Once you're in, the view is hard to pull your focus away from. Floor-to-ceiling windows create an experience just as breath-taking as the patio if you're looking for cover. Although, fire pits, heaters, and lap blankets are all provided and make it hard to pass up the outside experience.
Imagine the simplicity of Northwest cuisine mixed with ethnically diverse flavors. That's what dining at MBar will get you.
MBar is open seven days a week.
