BELLEVUE, WASH. - Ski season is just around the bend, so let's hit the steep slopes... of Bellevue! Team Evening checked out indoor ski center Mini Mountain in this week's installment of Field Trip Friday.

Mini Mountain is an indoor ski center in Bellevue with a skiing and snowboarding school. Founded in 1983, Mini Mountain has served Bellevue and the greater Seattle area with indoor and on-snow lessons, educating ski novices of all ages, from 2-92.

Team Evening went to Mini Mountain and an indoor skiing class for this week's installment of our recurring segment, Field Trip Friday.

Snow sports not really your thing? Mini Mountain also has batting cages and a rock climbing wall. They also offer week-long climbing camps in the Cascade mountains during the summer, ensuring that children will have adventure, exercise, and excitement year-round!

Mini Mountain's on-snow ski school is incredibly effective, with small class sizes (3 students per instructor) and knowledgeable instructors. But how often have you trekked up to the mountains and waited in long lines for the lift, only to discover at the peak that your family can barely stand up on their skis, let alone glide smoothly down a mountainside?

With the indoor lessons, you can master the fundamentals of skiing and snowboarding before you make that long journey to the mountains, saving you and your family time, money and energy. Also, indoor skiing is a lot of fun; Team Evening certainly had a good time, as you can tell from our photo gallery.
