Red Hot Chili Peppers to play at KeyArena on ‘The Getaway' tour

SEATTLE – The Red Hot Chili Peppers announced that they will be stopping in Seattle at KeyArena on March 17 for its 2017 North American Tour, 'The Getaway.’

The band is touring to promote its 11th album, "The Getaway," which debuted at #1 on the Billboard album sales chart and #2 on the Billboard Top 200.

A fan club ticket pre-sale launches this Wednesday, Sept. 21 at 10 a.m. Tickets go on sale to the general public Friday, Sept. 23 at 10 a.m. They can be purchased on Ticketmaster, at the KeyArena box office, or by calling (800) 745-3000.

As an incentive, every ticket purchased includes a choice of a physical or digital copy of the album, "The Getaway."

The tour begins on Jan. 5 in San Antonio, and it will make its way across North America. Trombone Shorty & Orleans Avenue will also perform in the tour. Jack Irons will join in performing during the month of January.
