Jimi Hendrix fans can hear a previously unreleased song in full on RollingStone.com.
The song, called "Somewhere," will be on a new album scheduled to be released March 5. For the song, Hendrix played with Buddy Miles on drums and Stephen Stills on bass "for a far-reaching psychedelic blues jam," as Rolling Stone describes it.
The soon-to-be-released album -- "People, Hell and Angels" -- contains 12 previously unreleased tracks recorded by the Seattle native in 1968 and '69.
Hendrix recorded the songs apart from the Jimi Hendrix Experience as he considered new, experimental directions for his follow-up to "Electric Ladyland." He plays keyboards, percussion and a second guitar on the album.
