Bob Dylan, in Scotland to play a couple of shows over the weekend, bought a set of bagpipes while he was there
Dylan, 70, bought the pipes Sunday at the National Piping Centre in Glasgow.
The Centre says Dylan bought the The National Piping Centre complete starter pack, which includes a practice chanter and Highland tutor book 1, as well as the Highland Tutor Book 2, a handful of maintenance items and a set of R.G. Hardie & Co. Bagpipes.
According to a 2004 article in The Telegraph, Dylan has suggested that the anti-war song "The Times They Are A-Changin'," was inspired by an obscure Scottish bagpipe tune.
