KING 5 morning anchor and Tacoma native, Joyce Taylor wore Red for Women on Tuesday, May 4th.
Joyce served as emcee for the American Heart Association's Luncheon and Fashion Show at the Courtyard Marriott hotel in Downtown Tacoma.
Organized by the local chapter of the AHA, this luncheon combined fashion, passion and inspiration for the 220 guests who attended.
Tacoma's Go Red for Women Lunch raised $115,000 dollars to fund research projects and initiatives around women's heart health.

The fashion show, sponsored by MultiCare, was a first for the Go Red for Women Luncheon.
Eight women, from a little girl to grandmothers, showcased stylish red outfits from Macy's, and shared how heart disease and stroke have touched their lives in very personal ways.

The Tacoma AHA would also like to recognize Dyann Lyon as the first ever Go Red Ambassador of the Year.
Lyon was the inspiration behind Ambassador program for Pierce County that has touched more than 1500 people in 6 months.
