Kokanee Elementary teamed up with the Everett AquaSox, Teddy's Bigger Burgers in Woodinville and Uncle Peteza's Pizzeria in Bothell for a week long coin drive for The American Red Cross Japan Earthquake and Pacific Tsunami Fund.  Starbuck's donated Joe on the Go boxes as our collection containers.

The Everett AquaSox is matching the first $500 our students raise!  Teddy's Bigger Burgers wanted to honor their restaurant franchise in Tokyo and owners Wes and Diana Case collected coins all week at their Woodinville location.  Pete Anthony owner of Uncle Peteza's Pizzeria in Bothell is also collecting and his employees offered to forgo their tips for the week to put towards the coin drive.

Last year our school did a similiar coin drive and raise over $5300 for the people of Haiti.  This year we hope to raise just as much and are grateful for our community partners and the amazing famlies at Kokanee.

We are now at over $3,000 and still counting!  (Over 120,000 coins)
