On July 15th 2010, KING 5's Jesse Jones participated in a dinner of mayors, city managers and deputy mayors of South Snohomish County.
The group was brought together to support Foundation House at Bothell, a not-for-profit active living retirement community, located just south of downtown.
Foundation House was founded by and is still run by the Seattle Education Foundation ("SEF").
For the past 25 years, the SEF has awarded approximately $500,000 in grants to Seattle area schools and teachers to help with special needs and under-served students, together with funding special educational programs that enrich classroom curriculum.
