ENUMCLAW -- Enumclaw accepted Rachel's Challenge and in six months they not only met the goal, they exceeded it.

Rachel Scott was a Columbine victim but has continued to spread her message of kindness through her memory. A chain of paper links, each one containing a good deed, was marched out by local students onto the football field.

More than two miles long, and 43,000 good deeds later, the national spokesperson called it
the biggest effort he's seen from a small community.

In front of a cheering audience Dave Gamache announced,  "Enumclaw, Washington, you
showed them how it's done!"

Kids tell us Rachel's Challenge has made the environment nicer, less fighting and bullying.  Enumclaw's mayor calls the six month effort of her community doing nice things for each other beautiful.
