Seattle, WA – KING 5’s Lori Matsukawa and Andrea Nakano are in Japan all week to report on the catastrophic earthquake and tsunami that rocked the island nation. Their first stories from Tokyo aired on Monday, March 14. Some of the stories Lori and Andrea have reported on so far include the problem of getting around Japan, heavy congestion at Narita Airport, the rush for food and supplies at a Tokyo Costco store, the ominously empty streets and rising radiation levels. Watch KING 5 News throughout the day at 6:00 AM, 12:00 PM, 5:00 PM, 6:30 PM, 10:00 PM on KONG 6/16, and KING 5 News at 11:00 PM for their latest updates.
