There’s a lot on the line this Sunday, Super Bowl XLVIII and Boys and Girls Clubs Bowl I. The Boys & Girls Clubs of King County and Metro Denver are fundraising furiously to see which city’s Clubs can raise the most money to support life-changing programming for youth.

The Boys and Girls Club is a fantastic organization that helps communities both locally and nationally. The organization provides kids with a safe place to learn and grow—all while having fun. If you are aware of the work the Boys and Girls Club does or this is your first knowledge of it, please visit their website for more information.

From today through February 4th at 12 p.m. PST, supporters, community members and football fans are encouraged to donate to their respective community’s Boys and Girls Clubs. In honor of the 48th Super Bowl, both cities’ organizations aim to raise at least $48,000.

But more than money is on the line in this competition. If the Denver Clubs win, Seattle Club kids and staff must wear Broncos team colors for a day. And if the Greater Seattle Clubs win, Denver kids and staff must wear Seahawks colors!
