What a perfect summer weekend for the Pacific Northwest. Our highs were mostly in the low to mid 70s just where our normals are for this time of the year. But we will be seeing a little cool down this week. But not a lot.
An upper level low will move through Wednesday into Thursday for some showers here and there and drop highs back into the mid to upper 60s. But as usual for July amounts will be light. Keep in mind July is our driest month of the year - in fact on average Sea-Tac gets less rain than Phoenix this month (0.79" vs about 0.90").
We should be mostly dried out by Friday and Saturday with only a few showers still lingering and highs back up to around 70. Sunday and at least the first half of next week may see highs back into the mid 70s. Overall though it is a pretty livable summer pattern - especially when you look at much of the remainder of the country (did I mention Washington DC is forecast to hit 100° tomorrow with a LOT of humidity!! :(
