The Seattle Mariners’ first “Bark in the Park” dog event next month is already sold out, but you can still get tickets to Tacoma Rainiers K-9 Innings.

Bring your dog to Cheney Stadium to watch the Rainiers take on the Oklahoma City Redhawks at 1:30pm on Sunday, June 22. The entire stadium will be open to dogs and their people.

Your $15 ticket gets you reserved seating on the first base line, a hot dog and a bottle of water. Dogs are $3 each at the gate and must be leashed and well-behaved.

The Paws-Abilities’ “First In Dog Obedience” (F.I.D.O.) Drill Team. FIDO says the group was formed by local dog owners to demonstrate the joy in, and fun of, owning a well-trained, obedient dog. The team is made up of mixed breeds, purebreds and shelter rescues ranging in age from nine months to 12 years old.

All ticket sales benefit the Dugan Foundation in partnership with Pawsitive Alliance. Pawsitive Alliance and Collar of Hope will be at the stadium with fun games, information on pet adoption and more.

Purchase tickets through Tacoma Rainiers at: Taryn Duncan, Tacoma Rainiers 253-722-1041 or tduncan@tacomarainiers.com

The Dugan Foundation says tickets purchased through Ticketmaster will not have benefits of the doggy goodies or the hot dog.
