The world’s longest domestic cat - Stewie - has been diagnosed with cancer.
His owner, Robin Hendrickson, says via her webpage that on Christmas Day, Stewie was taken to the animal emergency center with a swollen right eye. An exam showed a mass.
After an article about Stewie ran in the Reno Gazette Journal, someone at Eye Care for Animals offered to have a look at Stewie. They determined that Stewie has a cancerous mass behind his eye. A biopsy scheduled for Tuesday will determine what the treatment will be.
