The Everett Animal Shelter is holding its “SHAKAROO” fundraiser on Friday.

The event will feature music by local band Nigel Mustafa, performances by Oly’s Dance Studio and a “Pooch Pageant” featuring adoption dogs from the shelter.

The funds from the event will go to support the services, programs and resources for the animals at the shelter and in the community.
