University of Washington Professor of Atmospheric Sciences Cliff Mass has written a new blog post in which he finds a connection between warm weather and lost cats.

Mass began his investigation after receiving a call from Eric Swansen, Managing Director of the Regional Animal Services of King County.

Mass has created several graphs that track over time the cat intake at the King County animal shelter vs. the average temperature at Sea-Tac.
