Here's your chance to open your heart and home to a cat who needs a home. The Seattle Humane Society is waiving adoption fees on cats 1 year and older, and kittens are only $50 for the month of December.

The Humane Society says holidays can be the perfect time of year to welcome a furry friend into your home. And if you have a few extra days off to spend with your new friend, it will help them adjust to their new surroundings.

All Seattle Humane cats and kittens have been spayed/neutered, microchipped, vaccinated and tested for Feline Leukemia/FIV. Adoptions also include a certificate for an examination by a King County veterinarian and a collar with an identification tag.

Visit the shelter at 13212 SE Eastgate Way in Bellevue.

If you want to give the gift of constant companionship to a friend or loved one, purchase an Adoption Gift Certificate at the shelter or by phone at (425) 373-5382. With no expiration date, recipients have as long as it takes to find a good match.
