It's not too late to register you and your furry friend for the Muddy Mutt Run, Saturday's fun obstacle course event held at the Thomas Family Farm in Snohomish.

The event is not timed, and you choose whether to run or walk the 1.25 mile loop (a short cut is provided as an alternative).

You choose how many loops, parks and tailgating you want to do, including which, if any obstacles, to romp and play.

Then kick back with a cold beverage (One free drink with every ticket purchase or non alcoholic for under 21).

The event's co-directors are Mary Meyer and Sally Edwards, who each have years of event production experience.

“The Muddy Mutt Run Walk Obstacle is designed to encourage health and fitness for both dogs as well as their human partners – with 52 percent of our dogs being obese," said Meyer.

The Muddy Mutt is a charity event for numerous pet non-profits in the greater Seattle area, including Seattle Humane Society.
