Seattle is one of many cities that allow food trucks, with everything from burgers to barbecue to grilled cheese.
Well now, a pet food company has launched a food truck for dogs. Chef Michael’s, a Nestle Purina dog food brand, just rolled out the truck in Boston.
The company says according to a recent survey conducted them, more than 84 percent of dog owners surveyed believe mealtime is a perfect opportunity to show dogs how much they love him or her.
Joe Chatman, Chef Michael's Brand Manager Joe Chatman says dogs have been left out of the food truck craze.
"Chef Michael's doesn't think that's right. Why shouldn't dogs have food trucks too?" he says.
The company says the same survey revealed that six out of 10 dog owners think food trucks for dogs should be allowed to participate in festivals and events that are dedicated to food trucks. The survey was among 801 Americans 18 years of age and older who are "parents" to at least one dog.
