The search for Mugsy – missing at Snoqualmie Pass since an accident in August – still continues, even though the tortoiseshell cat hasn't been spotted since Sept. 16.
Vicki Mayfield says the family believes Mugsy is still alive, but has moved on.
She says there are still two traps and wildlife cameras in the area she was spotted in, in case she returns.
Vicki the hope is that if she is still alive and living in the woods that as the snow falls, it will bring her in closer to nearby houses.
"We have a dozen large poster signs with a reward posted around the summit at Snoqualmie pass. We hope that everyone checks around their garages and sheds for cat prints in the snow and for any other signs that she has taken up residence somewhere," she said.
Vicki asks anyone with information to call 425-830-1921.
