A beautiful, rust-colored hen who lives in Shoreline has become surrogate mom to seven ducklings.
Jocelyn Curry Asher of Shoreline says because she doesn't have a rooster, and because the hen name Cinnamon urgently wanted to hatch eggs, she placed seven fertile “Khaki Campbell” breed duck eggs under her and 27 days later, all seven eggs hatched.
