PAWS is caring for an orphaned bobcat kitten that was found last month outside a Redmond chicken coop.
The chickens must have looked awfully good to the hungry cat, PAWS naturalist Kevin Mack said in the PAWS blog.
"In reality, she was so small and frail that a chicken might have been more than she could handle," said Mack.
Fortunately, the owner of the chickens recognized the kitten was in need of help so she set a trap - baited with chicken giblets!
The next morning the woman transported the kitten to PAWS.
