Colonel Meow, the scowling cat with a taste for scotch, is back home after being hospitalized for a week.
The persian mix puff was not doing so well when he first visited the vet on Nov. 18. He was diagnozed with heart problem.
Hundreds of people around the world pledged more than $20,000 to pay for veterinary care.
"That is beyond words," Anne Marie said in a video posted on Facebook. "I am in absolute shock and complete and utter gratefulness for everyone to help me through this time. I can't even put into words how thankful I am."
Anne Marie offered a toast to all of Colonel's minions with his favorite drink - scotch.
"We are hanging in there," she said via the Facebook video. "And it's because of you, 100 percent because of you, and I appreciate all your love and support so thank you."
Anne Marie said any money that might be left over after Colonel's medical bills are paid will be donated to emergency pet care.
Colonel Meow was found abandoned by the side of the road and taken in by Seattle Persian and Himalayan Society. He was then adopted by Anne Marie and Eric Rosario. They lived in Seattle but later now live in Los Angeles.
In September, Colonel set a Guinness World Record for the longest fur. He is featured in the Guinness World Records 2014 book
He has more than 240,000 faithful fans - "minions" - on his Facebook page and that number continues to grow.
