The King County Library System is taking part in the nationwide "Big Read," and in celebration of the event and the featured book, "The Call of the Wild," they are looking for photos of you reading to your dog.
The KCLS is one of 208 communities nationwide participating in "The Big Read," a project funded by the National Endowment for the Arts, which is designed to get people reading.
Submit photos to readtoyourdog@kcls.org as a .jpg photo between now and June 30 and your photo will be displayed on a printable poster on the KCLS Web site.
The Big Read will coincide with the county-wide anniversary celebration of the 1909 Alaska-Yukon-Pacific Exposition.
In the Northwest the event is supported, in part, by a grant from the Paul G. Allen Family Foundation.
