Seven rescue groups will join forces for a cat and kitten adoptathon on Sunday. Sixty cats and kittens of all different shapes, sizes, ages and breeds will be on-site and available for adoption. Adoption fees are between $50 to $100.

Particpating rescue groups include ARF, HappyPaws Farm Humane Society, Homeward Pet Adoption Center, N.O.A.H., PAWS and Purrfect Pals.
One cat that is up for adoption at PAWS is 7-year-old FiFi (pictured), who has quite a unique look - a little googly-eyed and with the classic stuffed animal frown mouth. If I had a vacancy I'd take her in. She looks like a character.
Sunday's event will be from noon until 3 p.m. at K-9 Digs at 3616 South Road, Suite C1 in Mukilteo.
