The Shore Run/Walk, one of Seattle’s most family-friendly and scenic events, is back again in its 34th year! Join the Hutchinson Center for a 5K Run/Walk, 10K Run or Half-Mile Kids' Run on Sunday, June 12. Enjoy the scenic routes along Lake Washington and finish in Madison Park for fun, food, music, awards and prize drawings.
The annual event is a fundraiser benefiting immunotherapy research at the Hutchinson Center. Our Nobel prize-winning work on bone-marrow transplantation provided the first example of the power of the human immune system to cure cancer. Over the past three decades Center researchers have dramatically advanced our understanding of this therapeutic effect and have led the way in immunotherapy – harnessing the immune system for the treatment of cancers.
Recruit family members, friends and colleagues! There’s a run or walk for everyone:

• The Zillow.com 5K Run/Walk starts at Leschi Park at 8:15 a.m.
• The News Talk 97.3 KIRO FM 10K Run starts at Ferdinand Park at 9 a.m.
• The Foss Maritime Half-Mile Kids’ Run is in Madison Park at 10:15 a.m.

Advance registration is $30 for adults, $20 for kids up to age 12 and $10 for the Kids’ Run (for ages 8 and younger); it will cost more to register on the day of the event.

To sign up in advance, donate, or learn more, visit Shore Run. For information on volunteering at the event, visit volunteer opportunities.
