I am the owner/ manager of Evolution Pilates located in the Queen Anne/ Belltown area.  I have organized a huge fundraiser to support Susan G. Komen for the Care of Puget Sound taking place this Saturday July 31st (11am - 5pm).  I have partnered with Rain Fitness, Whole Foods Interbay and Santa Cruz Organic Pink Lemonade to create the ultimate fundraising opportunity and we have an estimated attendance of over 500 people.  The Susan G. Komen organization is near and dear to my heart and it is extremely important to me that I make every effort to show my support.  As a business, both I and Rain Fitness have performed several fundraisers to generate donations for Susan G.  I think it is very important that local businesses do as much as they can during these rough times to support causes such as these.  After all, as bad as some of our current situations may be, the people relying on these organizations for survival are in a far less fortunate position.  You never know how a little support from a stranger can change someones life.  And it is my hope that we can do just that.

The event will include:
Open grill lunch by Whole Foods including a variety of options available.
Delicious Santa Cruz Organic Pink Lemonade
             Freshly baked Pink Cupcakes
Wine Tasting from 3pm - 5pm offering a variety of local wines & cheeses
             Pilates Prize Give-A-Ways
             Rain Fitness Prize Give-A-Ways
             Breast Health handouts and info
...as well as a day to celebrate an all-around healthy lifestyle.
All items are based on donation only and 100% proceeds will be donated to Susan G. Komen for the Cure of Puget Sound.

Every 68 seconds, someone in the world dies of breast cancer.
One in eight women in the U.S. will be diagnosed with breast cancer in her lifetime.
An estimated 32.5 million women will be diagnosed worldwide over the next 25 years
and more than 11 million could die. Our donations will truly help save lives.
