Public Meeting to Discuss Patient Access to Prostate Cancer Treatment

On December 13, Noridian, a local Medicare carrier covering thousands of lives in (Seattle or Phoenix), is holding a public meeting to discuss coverage policies for various treatments including the use of stereotactic body radiation therapy (SBRT), also known as CyberKnife radiosurgery, for prostate cancer.
CyberKnife radiosurgery is a non-invasive approach to treating prostate cancer and requires 5 days to complete. The use of the treatment is supported by peer-reviewed, published research.

· If you are unable to attend, you can submit written comments to Noridian to express your thoughts on patient access to CyberKnife radiosurgery for prostate cancer.
