The time has come, my last day as the community relations intern. I can’t believe how fast the time has gone. I still can remember my first day here, when I found out that I was going to have my own desk and everything, as if it was just last week. In my three months, here at KING I have learn many valuable skills and been given one-of-a-kind opportunities. I have improved my writing skills, learned how to run a teleprompter, written stories for the KING 5 web site, been executive producer at the Kitsap Mall Home Team Harvest event, and had the chance to meet important people who make a difference in our community.
This internship has been everything I had hoped for and much more. I could not have asked for a better experience.
