As an official media sponsor for the Puget Sound Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure, we encourage KING 5 viewers to get involved with efforts to protect Washington State women.

Join advocates and breast cancer survivors on Tuesday, January 24 for the annual Advocacy Day in Olympia.

You’ll have a chance to gather in our state's capitol to meet face-to-face with our lawmakers and stress the importance of the Washington Breast, Cervical and Colon Health Program (BCCHP) for Washington State women.

Each year BCCHP provides early detection and screening services to nearly 20,000 low income,
uninsured and underinsured women.  With the long term future of the program in jeopardy, advocates from Susan G. Komen for the Cure hope to ensure BCCHP’s ability to save lives.

You are invited to join Susan G. Komen for Advocacy day on January 24 to ensure that underprivileged women in our state are taken care of.
