While the weather is certainly getting cooler and wet, we are talking about a whole other kind of Chili! Some of our best cooks and sideline chefs from within the property management industry will be simmering, stewing and sharing samples of their delectable chili. From the hottest versions to the most creative recipes, you are sure to find a chili to your taste! This 5th Annual event, hosted by the Washington Multi-Family Housing Association (WMFHA)along with our many generous sponsors, is a great family friendly gathering in the name of our favorite charity- DAWN (Domestic Abuse Women’s Network). With tickets at only $10 per person and children under 12 FREE, this fun event allows WMFHA and its members to assist an organization dedicated to providing tools and resources to women and children in our community who are survivors of domestic violence.

This year there will be appearances by Seattle Seahawks’ Blue Thunder, Blitz and the Sea Gals. With these special appearances and tons of kid activities, chili samples, hotdogs, refreshments and more, there is sure to be fun for everyone! Join us on Saturday October 29th, 2011 from 11:30am – 3:30 pm at the CORT Furniture Warehouse at 21431 68th Ave S, Kent, WA 98032.

In 2009 our donation helped build a playground for some of the younger victims of domestic abuse and our goal was to do even more in future years. Our 2010 donation to DAWN was used to help purchase many items and supplies needed to update their shelter.  DAWN’s facility is the only shelter in South King County and is critical to assisting their clients. We were able to provide new TV's, DVD players and gaming systems at Christmas time which was very much appreciated by the women and children that make the shelter their home during a stressful time of transition.  With your help and attendance, we look forward to what we will be able to help them do in 2011!

Tickets may be purchased in advance or at the door.
