On Wednesday, March 7th, Evening Magazine’s Jim Dever emceed the 2012 Childhaven Celebration Luncheon. By all accounts the Luncheon was a huge success. A record breaking $623,000 was raised to support abused and neglected children. Author, playwright, and keynote speaker, Antwone Fisher spoke of his experiences and said, “If there was a Childhaven in Cleveland where I grew up, I would not have had the difficult childhood that I had, there would have been someone to intervene in my early life.”
