5 days and 1 thousand volunteers later, the Rotary Adventure Playground opened on Sunday May 23rd with the help of KING 5's Jake Whittenberg.  The playground is the result of years of community planning, months of fundraising and countless hours of hard labor.   Located within Freedom Park at Terry’s Corner on Camano Island, children across the northwest are invited to come and experience it for themselves.

To learn more about the project go to: www.iHeartParks.org or call 360-629-2900.
To experience the playground for yourself, take exit 212 from I-5 and head 12 minutes west.

All funds collected beyond the construction costs are being placed in an endowment for on-going maintenance.
Donations may be made to the Stanwood Camano Area Foundation on behalf of the project.
