SEATTLE -- It was a very daunting goal (one we weren't sure we could reach), but thanks to you, Home Team Harvest has done it -- raised 10 million meals for Washington's hungry in 10 years.
This past weekend you dropped off an unprecendented amount of food and donations, enough for 2.8 million meals. That's over one million meals more than last year's record-setting campaign.
Food banks bed by Northwest Harvest are now providing 650,000 services a month in Washington, up 30 percent from the all-time high in 2008.
