Seattle to Paris nonstop begins

SEATAC, Wash. - Air France began nonstop daily service Monday between Seattle and Paris.
A special ceremony was held Monday afternoon, just minutes before Flight 46 arrived at Sea-Tac Airport.
The first flight from Sea-Tac to Paris left about 5 p.m.
Air France will serve the route with an Airbus A-330-200, configured to carry 219 passengers.
Until now, nonstop service from Sea-Tac to Europe has included British Airways to London, SAS to Copenhagen and Northwest Airlines to Amsterdam.
