First place: Seattle Center
Seattle's central gathering place takes top honors in 2007. Besides the numerous festivals held there, there's the Pacific Science Center, the Seattle Children's Theater, The Children's Museum, the Fun Forest Amusement Park, the International Fountain (usually surrounded by laughing and soaked kids in swimsuits), the funky EMP building, a kid-friendly food court and a somewhat well-known landmark called The Space Needle.

Second place: Woodland Park Zoo
Covering 92 acres and featuring more than 1,900 animals, Woodland Park Zoo has been a family institution for more than 100 years. The Zoomazium, a recently opened year-round indoor play space, makes the zoo an even more friendly hangout for the little ones.

Third place: Wild Waves
This south King County park has been around 30 years. Featuring rides, both dry (roller coasters) and wet (water slides and like), this place almost always shows up in our top of your favorite family-friendly destinations. In the fall Wild Waves also features a Halloween-themed Fright Fest.
